LaScala's on Chestnut Street, in the Historic District caters to a wide demographic of patrons. Open all week, the popular place is always abuzz with locals as well as tourists, which is why, reservations are recommended. On offer here is an Italian fare that matches American culinary sensibilities and quite like, how the restaurant itself advertises "like Grandmom used to make". The offerings are truly delightful, with preparations such as lobster ravioli, wild mushroom risotto and fried calamari being the local hits. The prices are fair and service is quite nice as well - definitely worth a decko!
