Welcome to Transfer Pizzeria Cafe. Our namesake is Transfer Pharmacy, a classic cornerstone drugstore from a bygone era that, for decades, thrived on this corner. The name remains, as well as many of the physical features of the past establishment. Today, we offer a large variety of distinctively delicious pizzas as well as salads, appetizers (including our famous salami bruschetta), a full bar, and many gluten-free and vegan options. We have outdoor patio seating/dining including our bus patio (yes, you can eat pizza on our 1950s Milwaukee County Transit Company-inspired bus!). So join us for a delectable dose of traditional and unique pizzas and cocktails, and enjoy an easygoing atmosphere with familiar, friendly service. 1954, that's when Zaffiro's Pizza was established by brothers Bobby and John Zaffiro, and what a journey it has been! The restaurant is famous for its pizzas and especially the cracker thin, crisp and well-cooked crust. The meat lovers pizza loaded with pepperoni, sausage and beef is one of the favorites. They are also well known for their salad which is prepared with fresh veggies and generous amounts of pepperoni, cheese and olives. Yummy sandwiches, pasta and seafood are also on offer. Wash it down with a white or red wine for a perfect meal. Reasonable prices, excellent quantities and friendly staff and service make Zaffiro's a winning combination.
