Uncle Julio's Fort Worth

The interior of this place could easily pass for the restaurant version of a Mexican quilt. It is that bright and colorful. Traditional Mexico-inspired decor adorns the walls adding even more color. The open dining room is casual and the friendly waitstaff is attentive. Traditional Tex-Mex fare, such as fajitas, enchiladas and burritos are excellent. Other specialties on the menu include broiled quail and a few seafood entrees. Save room for dessert—the flan is excellent here.

Woody Creek Bar-B-Q

Celebrating 19 years on the square in Springtown, Texas, and 14 years in Fort Worth on the west side of town by Ridgmar Mall. Family owned and operated by the Neeley's, it all started years ago as just a food truck parked out front of our country home on family land under centuries old oak trees next to the actual creek, Woody Creek, on the backroads between Springtown and Weatherford. We've always used hickory wood to smoke our meats and we're known for our tender brisket and our pull right off the bone, pork spare ribs. Our Double Barrel Potato is huge and loaded with all the goods and topped with chopped brisket, and our Gunslinger Sandwich is three layers of chopped brisket, smoked sausage, and hot link all in one. If you can get past the amazing smell of BBQ when you walk in, you've gotta try our handmade burgers from the flat grill with our fresh cut seasoned fries. As a local reporter once said, "If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!". If you need us to come to you, for small orders in Fort Worth find us on DoorDash, or for larger togo orders or full service catering we can handle up to 1000 people from either location. See ya soon!

King Tut Restaurant

King Tut is located in a newly renovated area near downtown Fort Worth. Opened by Cairo native Amin Mahmoud in October of 1992, King Tut features Egyptian, Greek and Middle Eastern food in a setting that features tapestries, Egyptian figures and images of the real King Tut adorning the walls. Entrees include fried falafel with chickpeas, fava beans, onions and leeks, Macarona Bil Bechamel- an Egyptian-style lasagna with sirloin beef and tubular pasta as opposed to lasagna noodles, and the delectable shawarma, which combines loads of shrimp, chicken breast, lamb or sirloin with onions, tomatoes and spices. Several vegetarian dishes are also available, whereas desserts such as the beloved Baklava uphold the Greek theme.
