El Gaucho

Recalling upper-crust New York in the 1940s, El Gaucho is not your typical relaxed Seattle restaurant. The waiters are tuxedoed, a piano plays in the background and candles flicker, shedding light over lots of dark wood inside the restaurant. Perfectly prepared steaks and seafood dishes fill the menu. Order Chateaubriand for two, carved table side, or an Australian lobster tail. This establishment also includes a full bar.

Taylor Shellfish Farms

Taylor Shellfish is a company which farms and distributes fish and seafood. Fresh from pisciculture farms to their outlets, the stores bring your mussels, oysters clams and more. The shellfish are farmed using sustainable methods, thereby ensuring the pure flavor of fish which goes down smoothly with beer or a glass of wine. The store also has a raw bar and restaurant attached to it from which you can sample a couple of options.

Portage Bay Cafe

Connected to the University Inn on the fringe of the University of Washington campus, this cafe features fare and decor that reflect collegiate culture. For breakfast, order pancakes, French toast or waffles and take a trip to the topping bar. Dinner entrees show imagination, with offerings including slow-roasted duck with tasty port sauce and crab cakes with aioli for dipping.

Six Seven Restaurant

A signature restaurant of the Edgewater Hotel (The), Six Seven combines Pacific Northwest cuisine with contemporary Pan-Asian and American influences. Chef Hans Reisinger's elegant preparations are flavored with fresh Northwestern ingredients, reflecting his years of international culinary experience. Try the Six Seven Crab Cakes with avocado salad for starters, and the classic wood-roasted chicken, goat cheese dumplings, or Ivory Forest mushroom sautee for your main course. The Forest Room, a private dining room, holds a maximum of 32 people and can be booked for special occasions and private parties. Treat your eyes to the wonderful view of Elliot Bay, and your taste buds to some truly exotic dishes— it will prove an unforgettable experience.

Maneki

Located in the international district of Seattle and established in 1904, Maneki continues to offer traditional and authentic Japanese sushi and dishes at shockingly reasonable prices. Menu items include spider rolls, ten-zaru soba noodles, gyozas, chicken karaage, avacado ponzu and much more. Make a reservation for your group and enjoy your meal in a Tatami room, where you can try the traditional Japanese-style seating on the floor.
