Our company was founded on March 1, 1951 as Cold Control Company. We are now in our 50th year of doing business. We started as a service company and did authorized A/C service for most manufacturers. This continued until 1973 when we purchased Arrow Appliance Parts. In 1978 we discontinued the service aspect of our business and the two companies merged to become Arrow Cold Control. With our service background, we understand service issues and have tailored our business to solve your service problems and needs. Now with our two locations in Kansas City, Kansas and Overland Park, Kansas, we cover all 48 contiguous states.
Owned by Myron & Chris Schwery since 1988, Bernina Sewing Centers offer Kansas City's best and largest selection of sewing machines, embroidery machines, and accessories. We are a hub for local sewing enthusiasts and offer a wide range of services from sewing machine sales and repairs to classes, events and clubs. Each month we explore techniques and gain ideas for getting the most out of our machines and software. Regular maintenance is important. Emergencies happen, and even the best machines need TLC, cleaning and tweaking. With over 70 years of combined sewing machine repair and service experience, The BERNINA Sewing Centers of Kansas City understand this and are proud to offer a full range of services to help keep your machine running smoothly. Call us and bring in your sewing machine, embroidery machine or serger and let our BERNINA factory trained and certified professional technicians have a look!
