Located inside a site that used to function as a factory, the Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment basts of seven galleries, a community garden, several performance venues, a theater and approximately 152 studious that are used by nearly 200 artists. Thanks to these aforementioned features, the privately managed facility is regarded as one of the largest in the South.
Artistic Minds offers the North Alabama community an environment conducive to self-paced acquiring of fine art training. The foundation of realistic drawing and shading, perspective and portrait is a structured course. After the foundation is laid in drawing, the student will learn color theory with the use of color pencils. The next step is mastering control of a brush, through water color followed by acrylic paint. Creative expression is encouraged and supported in the community and fellowship of fellow students. Students have said that this class is their "Me" time, their 1 1/2 hours out of the week that they can loose themselves in art. U Paint nights are also offered. Choose a painting from our website, choose a time, & invite your friends. We will help you step by step to complete your painted masterpiece. A fun night with friends:) Artistic Minds offers a gallery of acrylic and oil paintings, custom art, charcoal portraits, and murals. Art Camps are a favorite in the Summer. Camps are for ages 5-16.
