The Des Moines Arts Festival® is a multi-day Festival that adds vibrancy to Central Iowa by creating opportunities for people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to celebrate the arts. This year's Festival will take place June 22-24 in the heart of Des Moines surrounding the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Western Gateway Park.

Owned by Liz Lidgett, a nationally known art advisor as seen in Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart and Apartment Therapy, the gallery includes artwork from international artists and provides services to both local and national restaurants, homes and corporate offices.

A temple for art lovers and learners, the Des Moines Art Center houses artworks like Edward Hopper's Automat, which was reproduced as a postage stamp. Other artists included in the permanent collection are Andy Warhol, Claude Monet, and Roy Lichtenstein. The building is considered a work of art in and of itself, first built in 1948 and later redesigned in 1968. The art center even has a reference library, restaurant, and gift shop. It also has arrangements for seminars and workshops on regularly.
Terrinye's artwork is a vibrant and whimsical tapestry of watercolors and acrylics, spanning a diverse range from elegant florals to captivating wildlife and personalized cards. Each piece is a genuine expression of authenticity and a celebration of individuality, guided by the heartfelt mantra "sing our song." Originals, prints and merchandise can be seen at studio or on her website. The studio is open for Mainframe Studios First Friday of the month from 5-8 and by appointment.
