You'll find a huge supply of brushes, oil paints, watercolors, acrylics, hard and soft pastels, canvases, sketch and drawing pads, watercolor pads and blocks, screenprinting products, charcoals, colored pencils, w/c pencils, Caran D'Ache, and everything else an artist needs. If we don't have it in stock, we will special order it for you at no additional cost.
SMFA specializes in contemporary regional and local fine art. We feature prominent artists work in paintings,photography and sculpture in a beautiful space in Old Port on the corner of Free St and Temple St. across from Nickelodeon theatre. We also feature SMFA Vintage, rotating paintings from important late artists with strong ties to Maine. Enjoy this mix of exciting and fresh work in our welcoming friendly space. We are also fine art consultants for your business and home or personal collections. We have been building collections since 1992 in Maine.
Located in the heart of the village on Peaks Island in Portland, Maine Richard Boyd Art Gallery is an award-winning owner operated fine art gallery celebrating creativity and diversity. The gallery features a stunning array of visual art created by a diverse group of artists and provides a welcoming space for art lovers to explore, learn, and enjoy original works of visual art. Exhibitions change monthly and include solo, group, and theme exhibits, so clients and visitors always discover something new and exciting when visiting the gallery. Richard Boyd Art Gallery is open to all ages free of charge. During the months of April through October the gallery is open between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. From November through the end of March the gallery is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Additional days and times by chance or scheduled by appointment.
