It is a second hand bookstore in downtown Saratoga operated by the volunteers of the Friends’ Library. The store is packed with a wide selection of interesting books as well as CD's, DVD's, VHS, Audio books, sheet music and records all at good rates. There are also comfortable seating arrangements where visitors can enjoy the classical music while reading the books.

The place also has a wealth of candles, jewelry, videos to rent, CDs, tapes, Tibetan sculptures, an entire section of incense, decorative waterfalls and who knows what else? If you are at all remotely interested in esoterica, you will find something here. The place also hosts lectures, workshops, and demonstrations on healing, improvement and things of that nature.
