We're a small group of creatives that are on mission to democratize the media. Our HQ is located in an independently-owned cowork space in the South Bay of Los Angeles and we have remote partners around the country that promote Buzz Magazine in their cities and even edit and publish for their local Buzz Magazine. There is no executive team and no gatekeepers. We base our interviews exclusively on nominations by people who know them the best-their happy clients and customers. All it takes to get published is for a business owner or nominee to submit quality images and thoughtful answers-and we're going to publish it!
After establishing itself as Japan's largest used book store chain, Bookoff has now brought its philosophy of reuse and recycle to Gardena. Located at the Pacific Square Shopping Center, Bookoff offers its customers a wide selection of used books, CDs, magazines and manga at amazingly low prices. All the products sold at the store have been purchased from customers, thus creating an economic cycle that benefits all. Bookoff ensures that all products are cleaned and restored as much as possible before being stocked on their shelves. A haven for manga fans, the store at Gardena predominantly stocks Japanese books and CDs, however the English section is quite impressive as well with great finds for all.
