We sell Good Quality Used Books
50/50 Bookstore is a Pay-What-You-Can bookstore where everyone has equal access to quality books. Our mission is simple; reduce book waste and connect books with readers. Each month, we partner with different organizations that make a positive impact in our community. These partners receive 50% of the proceeds from the bookstore to help fund their programs. 50/50 is a bookstore with a heart for the community and we hope that you can join us in our mission to make the world better, one book at a time.
Located across from the State Capitol Building on the edge of downtown, this bookstore is like walking into a cluttered closet of old books. Lined with bookshelves overflowing with used titles in a wealth of genres, this shop has been satisfying literary cravings for 20 years. What started as one small room has blossomed into a 3000 square foot book Mecca. An international antiquarian book search makes this a perfect stop when looking for a rare, first or out of print edition. Postcards, greeting cards and posters are also available.
