Since 1978, The New Friends of the Beaverton City Library (NFBCL) has been building community and raising funds for the Beaverton City Library. We opened our little store in 1996 selling donated used books to support the local library and have helped fund programs. We operate with a manager and over 70 volunteers.
Powell's Books at Cedar Hills Crossing opened in 2006 in spacious Cascade Plaza at the city of Beaverton. The store is home to rare-to-find, used and new books along with the intriguing collection of technical books. With a funky yet relaxing atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and Wi-Fi connectivity, you are sure to land in a paradise.
