The Hub City Bookshop is part of the larger Hub City Writers Project, a benevolent endeavor that promotes local writers and authors. This independent bookstore has tons of literature from both known artists as well as more obscure ones, so rest assured that it will have your subject. Most of the proceeds go towards fostering creative writing programs in the community and they even have their own publishing house, Hub City Press.
The mission of the Converse College Alumnae Office is to provide a comprehensive array of programs and services for the college's alumnae and graduate alumni. The programs and events are designed to serve the alumnae and keep them in touch, informed and invested in their alma mater.The Alumnae Office begins working with students as freshmen, sponsoring events to increase their awareness of the Alumnae Association and of their responsibilities as future alumnae.
