A Children's Place

A Children’s Place is one of the oldest libraries in the region, offering a rich selection of books for avid readers. It is a local favorite and offers engaging choices for youngsters. If you are not sure what copy to buy for your little ones, be rest assured that their friendly staff is ever ready to guide you. You can also take a look at their assemblage of attractive soft toys while you are here.

Broadway Books

This quaint bookshop is just as good as the major chain store down the street. The small-town feel goes well with the friendly and helpful staff, and the selection is broader than you might think. If what you want is not on the shelf, the staff is eager to order it for you. A great sale section is stashed next to the children's area in the back. Broadway Books also offers wrapping paper and greeting cards to complete your gift shopping.

Crooked House Books & Paper

Small, curated collection of vintage and rare books. We specialize in bindings, first editions, cookbooks, women authors, and have a sections of science fiction & mythology/spirituality. Open by chance or appointment during the week (call, text or email), and we're open on Saturdays 11-5. We issue one or two catalogs per year, and do three or four book fairs a year. We love to buy books, manuscripts, and ephemera--single items or large collections.

Sunrise Books
