This is Sacramento's most upscale shopping mall. Shoppaholics will find this to be a village-type shopping centre-outdoors with a mix of boutiques and dining. You can find anything from designer shoes to custom-made handbags, all in one location. The Pavilions shopping plaza boasts a Saks Fifth Avenue, Hamilton Jewelers, Talbot's and other specialty stores. If you get tired of shopping, stop and grab a bite at one of the many restaurants at the plaza. For a fantastic lunch, the staff at David Berkley Fine Wines & Specialty Foods make sandwiches that are to die for. For an evening treat, Mace's is one of Sacramento's finest upscale restaurants.

This two-level, bright, airy and beautifully decorated assembly of over 165 stores remains the flagship of Sacramento area malls. Arden Fair Mall is surrounded by more than 40 acres of parking, and anchored by Macy's, Sears, Nordstrom and J.C. Penney, this mall attracts many shoppers who arrive early and stay late. Specialty stores, clothing stores, bookshops, gift shops and kids stores abound. The second-level food court caters to practically every taste, and there are several sit-down restaurants that line the surrounding area. The center of the mall has an indoor carousel for children and adults to ride.

Anchored by Loehmann's Department store (the plaza's namesake) and a large grocery store, this plaza has more than 25 retail shops and one fine dining restaurant. The plaza has stores with diverse products or services; for example, a Jamba Juice (smoothies), a bath boutique, a card and gift shop, a drapery store, and a Java City (coffee cafe), to name a few. In addition, the plaza is the home of Scott's Seafood Restaurant, a fine dining experience complete with white tablecloths and tuxedo-clad waiters.
