Nomads has been a labor of love and is essentially the product of a 12-year metamorphosis. We started as a consignment shop for outdoor gear and clothing. We soon grew into a full-fledged outdoor store called Maine MountainWorks. After seven years with lots of personal, as well as local and national industry changes, we decided to take our business in a different direction. Our customers tend to be urban nomads whose journeys may span the globe or may simply take them across town to their local Pilates studio.
