OKW

This upscale women's clothing boutique located on Tremont Street in Boston's South End specializes in urban chic and highly stylized apparel literally designed in house. In fact, fashionistas can buy cut-to-measure clothing at OKW (pronounced o-koo) in sizes ranging from two to 24 off the rack. Their on-site designers actually make the clothing from their own patterns crafted with fabrics imported from Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany. It's fashion design with a tailored edge, and OKW's designs continue to thrill and excite at Boston area fashion galas and shows. Their exciting clothing lines offer a diverse mix of sportswear & evening wear for women, including premium tailored slips, jackets, blouses, shirts, bathing suits and more. There is also an upscale men's line available, with stunning camp shirts and unstructured jackets exclusively available from this Boston fashion designer.

Castanet

Castanet Designer Consignment is a hidden gem, located in a bright parlor space on the 2nd floor of 175 Newbury Street (between Dartmouth & Exeter) in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. The second hand shop stocks high end clothing from the wardrobes of the best dressed women in the city. You'll find a mix of labels that satisfy a variety of price points. Castanet opened in Spring 2016 and has quickly become a fashion lover's dream, building on the legacy of The Closet (which was open for 38 years.) Castanet is the place to come for clothing that is special and unusual, when you don't want to pay retail, or look like everyone else! If you are interested in consigning, it is best to speak with the owner, Cassie. She is highly selective, but always on the look out for people with fabulous personal style who wish to make room in their closet for new treasures. Give her a call or stop in! You can also check out @shopcastanet on Instagram for the first look at new arrivals.
