Manchester Blooms is a native annual direct seed sow farm. We only grow nothing fussy full sun annual flowers. Our most prolific flowers are zinnia, sunflowers, cosmos, marigold, and cornflower. We grow a wide variety of wildflowers that bloom in different times of our season. Since our inception, we have been hyper focused on value, affordability, and accessibility. We purposely choose flowers for their ease of growing, their love of full sun, and their ability to be grown in large volumes. This allows our guests to pick a lot of flowers at a very reasonable price. U-Pick is open mid July through the end of September. Our Open U-Pick hours are available for drop in. Customers can stop in anytime 1/2 hour before closing during these hours. No appointment and no admission fee. At MB, all our flowers are mass planted in giant beds. Many of our varieties are traditionally grown with 12-24 inches between each plant, grown in long single planted rows or in plastic. Growing in mass gives us the look of a park of flower gardens. It means we have thousands of blooms to choose from and it’s also what keeps our U-Pick affordable. Our customers get a lot of flowers for their money. While we get a few anomalies here and there, we do not have large sunflowers. We have hundreds of small and medium sunflowers in several colors, perfect for arranging. .
