On the islands off the shores of Bali, water hyacinth sea grass grows wild and is used to make everything from baskets to beautiful furniture. Artfully crafted using the widest and best quality seagrass available, this furniture is designed with quality in mind. The kiln-dried hardwood/mahogany frame is covered with a large chunky knit weave of water hyacinth seagrass...smooth to the touch! The kiln drying process prevents the wood from cracking once it leaves the tropics. Oceanside Living and Décor is a leading provider of natural, sustainable, renewable, custom boutique quality sea grass furniture. Our furniture is well constructed, has heavy duty hardwood frames; not rattan pole inside, solid mahogany, not manufactured wood. Available in Coffee Bean (dark brown) and Honey (natural with tonal variations), and sealed and protected with 2 coats of clear lacquer finish.
