Ballard Home Comfort is one of those stores filled with pretty things, jewelry, knick-knacks, gifts, and other non-necessities, some of which are created by local artisans. There’s nothing you really need here, but it’s fun to browse and makes a great place to pick up a gift, say a fragrant bath soap collection, for your boss’s birthday. The prices are pretty steep, but not higher than you’d expect in a small boutique shop, and one entire corner of the shop is dedicated to clearance items that have substantial markdowns. Ballard Home Comfort is right in the main shopping area of Ballard, so stop by if you’re in the area. At the very least it’s a great place to browse.
