The Dallas Stars, L.P. are a professional hockey team who are associated with the National Hockey League s Western Conference Pacific Division. In its 2003 season, the Stars won 41 games, lost 26, tied 13 and lost two games in overtimes. One of the highlights of its career was in its 1999 victory over the Buffalo Sabres to win the Stanley Cup. The Dallas Stars Foundation was established to serve as a positive force throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It focuses its efforts on providing support to the children of the community so, through teamwork, interaction and education, they may lead quality lives and develop into contributing members of society. They hope to build a bright future for growing youth. The Stars partner with Cirro Energy who donates 5 percent of its customers monthly bills to the Dallas Star Foundation.
