Celeste takes an individualized approach to teaching students how to work with clay on the pottery wheel. To accomplish this all classes stay under 4 students. During weekly sessions, she takes the time to learn each student's unique throwing style, helping them adapt to the new world of working with their hands to create beautiful pieces. By customizing, troubleshooting, and working with each student's individual style, it becomes a more natural process and a greater reward for them. She believes each student thinks differently and processes differently, and their bodies and hands are shaped for their uniqueness. This means that the approach to working on the wheel should be tailored to what works for them.
