You may not have heard of Johnson Art Studio (JAS), but if you live, work or play in Santa Cruz County, chances are you've seen the elegant handcrafted lighting of owner and designer Roy Johnson. His curved leaf sconces grace the dining room of Soif Wine Bar, while his Asianinfluenced lanterns greet patrons at the entrance of Shogun Japanese Restaurant. From the Pacific Trading Co. to Paradise Beach Grill, Johnson's Craftsman inspired fixtures beautifully illuminate countless Santa Cruz homes and businesses.
