First and foremost, we have excellent staff, so customers can ask questions, get input on best options for types of riding and conditions, and more. We sell a curated selection of brands, to have the best options for the area, various riding styles, durable materials and construction, and that look AWESOME. We want folks to be able to try things on and get a feel for the difference. We also offer popular branded gear that is unique to Sunflower, and especially as a university town, gives students, parents, and alumni a way to take the culture of the local Lawrence bike shop with them. As a locally owned shop, our store supports the local economy (jobs, downtown business); local riders (group rides from the shop, local and youth teams and riders, multiple cycling-focused events); and nonprofits (Steve Tilford Foundation + Kansas NICA, especially Sunflower Devo Team; the local mountain bike club and trail maintenance organizations) to further support and grow the local cycling community.
