Oaktown Native Plant Nursery nurtures a diverse collection of California native plant species. Our retail nursery offers rare finds of garden-worthy selections. Visit us Wednesday through Sunday and we'll happily share horticultural knowledge and landscape design tips to help you create alluring habitat in your garden. Our demonstration garden on Channing Way displays mature examples of colorful, unique native plants that attract a lot of buzzzz. For almost 15 years, we've specialized in contract growing for landscape and restoration projects including seed collection, cuttings and propagation. We work with landscape architects, restoration scientists and construction contractors to develop appropriate plant palettes for your project.
Plants locally native to Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We grow our own plants, primarily from seed, collected ethically from wild locations throughout the two East Bay Counties. We work hard to give minimal water and fertilizer so that they will flourish with little care in your garden or restoration project.
