Being a family run business for over 30 years, and fully dedicated to the nursery trade, we take great pride in the plant material we raise. Our commitment to raising quality northern grown plant material is an ongoing process. Each year many new and interesting items are added to our 200+ acres of inventory and field tested for their hardiness and potential in the landscape. We hope our years of growing experience will be evident in our product. Much of the plant material we raise and sell is heavily developed finished stock, ready for its journey into your landscapes. Red Oak Nurseries, Inc is located at 5860 Ike Dixon Road in Camillus, New York, 10 miles west of Syracuse. We are centrally located and easily accessible by many routes. We are 10 miles from the New York State Thruway and approximately 15 miles from Route 81.
Chuck Hafner's Farmer's Market boasts of offering some of the best produce in North Syracuse. Located on Buckley Road, next to Walgreen's, this farmer's market features a wide range of fresh fruits, vegetables and general produce. The place also includes a huge garden center, spread over 65,000 square feet (6038.7 square meters), that grows nursery stock, vegetable plants, seasonal and perennial blooms and much, much more! Established way back in the early 1900s, Chuck Hafner's Farmer's Market is a good place to shop for daily groceries, exotic veggies and fruits as well as fresh, gorgeous flowers.
