Formerly known as the Christown Mall, this centrally located shopping mall offers easy access. Anchor stores are Walmart, JC Penneys and Dillards outlet stores. Shopping in this mall is highly popular with the younger crowd in this area. Many smaller clothing shops feature younger styles and fabrics. Miracle Mile Deli is an old favorite of this mall. Other stores such as Gordan Jewelers and Vista Optical offer needed services. United Artists Theaters offers THX stereo systems and are located at the southeast end of the mall. Hours and credit card acceptance will vary by merchant.
Desert Sky Mall
Built in the late seventies, this mall was originally owned by local builder John F. Long but now is owned and run by WestCor. Some of the major stores here are JCPenney, Dillards and Sears. Mall walkers can enter any time after 7a and the white tiles on the floor denote each tenth of a mile. The customer service desk is available for help anytime during mall hours. Centrally located, it offers additional services of fax and notary even has wheelchair rentals.
