Providence Place Mall is the local shopping hub where shoppers will find all of the big-name stores, like Old Navy, PacSun, Foot Locker, Vans and many others. It's conveniently located downtown and it has three levels filled with a wide range of shops. In addition to department store anchors Macy's and Boscov's, the mall has other essential stores selling music, shoes, apparel, sports accessories and toys, as well as a food court with equally familiar spots like Subway, Panera Bread and Popeye's.
Old World charm prevails at Americas oldest indoor mall. The Arcade is in the heart of downtown Providence. Stroll under stained glass skylights and ironwork railings built in the Greek revival period, or enjoy tea and croissants on the first floor at one of the many cafes, delis and restaurants. While the first floor of the Arcade is occupied by a variety of retails shops and restaurants, the second and third floors of this historic shopping center have now been converted in to a private residential complex. Nevertheless, the historic charm of Arcade has survived and continues to attract locals and visitors alike.
