This new edition to the South Dallas side has become a big hit due to its' big selection of retail chains such as mega-stores Barnes and Noble and Dick's Sporting Goods. If shopping isn't your forte then the dining may bring you this way with Bailey's Prime Plus or Razoo's. Or perhaps the open pavilion in the center of the plaza with free water fountains for the kids to play in while the adults munch on fresh pretzels and lemonade from the Wetzel's Pretzels. A fun outing for all with the variety of what Uptown Village offers.

Downtown Arlington is an up and coming destination located just minutes from the Entertainment District. We offer an array of cultural attractions and dining options right in the heart of Arlington. Lucky for us, we are nestled next to one of the fastest growing research universities in the entire nation: The University of Texas at Arlington. With a record breaking 34,249 enrolled students in Spring 2014, it's no surprise the lines have blurred between the university and downtown district. The Downtown Arlington Management Corporation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to improve the economic vitality of Downtown Arlington.
