The Bayard Rustin Community Center and Thrift Store is run by Montgomery Pride United, a nonprofit organization that seeks to support and bring together the LGBTQ community and their allies in Montgomery, Alabama. We are a resource center, event space, and thrift store. We also have a free food pantry and connect people with affirming services in the area. We have monthly meetings, events, and much more. We have a thrift store blowout sale every second Saturday. Come on by and see us!
Custom Alteration: With purchased suit, it will be altered to fit with the purchaser's preference of cuff or straight hem. Advanced alterations (including sleeve and waist) are also available. Shop for the man, not the suit: Each of our customers is treated to a personalized shopping experience, with the proprietors and clerks lending their fashion expertise to make sure each man who shops here walks out looking his best.
We build custom furniture. We love making our customers’ visions come to life!
