Lori was our mother and a lover and collector of antiques. She spent her life going to auctions, estate sales and antique shops to decorate her house. She loved her collections and never got rid of anything. She was also an almost hoarder and kept all the toys, decor and collectables from our childhood which are now considered vintage. When she died in 2019 we were left with the task of dispersing her estate. She had multiple buildings full of her things. After taking what we cherished and had space for we couldn’t bear to see the rest of it go into the landfill when we knew it could be loved by someone else. We started Lori’s Lost Treasures to honor her legacy, to give her things a new home, and to keep usable and loved items out of the landfill. Almost everything sold at Lori’s Lost Treasures comes from our family’s personal collection. Most of these items were either purchased by our mother long ago for her collection or were used by our family as we grew up. These items were once loved by us and I hope that they can continue to be loved by you.

Cake Plus-Size Resale is a body positive resale shop for sizes XL and up. Cake makes stylish secondhand clothing accessible to those wearing plus-sizes at our brick-and-mortar shop in Minneapolis & occasionally in our online shop. We have a really fun social media presence. Folks can even shop from our Instagram stories! Plus, we're focused on local community. We host events regularly. Some of the faves have been our annual Fat Splash Pool Party, a plus-size burlesque show, lingerie shopping events, and more!
