Emergency Mobile Thrift Shop was created by me (Janet Caraballo) in June 2015 after reselling items since 2003 online via eBay, Craigslist, Poshmark and at Flea Market or Vendor Events. I took a retired ambulance and converted it into a Mobile Thrift Shop. All of the inner and exterior compartments have been converted into closets, trunks and storage spaces. Inside my fashion truck you can buy women, men or children's clothing, shoes, cosmetics, accesories, books and sometimes small furniture, party supplies,and toys. We have some designer, handmade and vintage items for sale. E.M.T.S. is bringing a new meaning to dress to impress and save time and cash while you are at it. My truck is for the savvy consumer who wants to save money and the planet by reusing pre-owned; re-purpose and saving our planet is our main goal. We started out in the Throggs neck section of the Bronx and now we are in Orange County N. Y. Reviewed by universities and covered by news channels like News12 Bronx and Latino Entrepreneurs digital magazine I an proud to bring my vision to fruition and serve NY families. Our mission is to provide consumers with a broad range of recycling options to equipt them with the information and tools necessary to reuse, recycle and repurpose textiles and small furniture. Providing recycling and waste management training to help them understand the importance of caring for our communities and environment while saving money by thrifting and free cycling clothing .

A hidden gem of a thrift store packed with vintage and designer clothing at incredible prices. The shop is tucked off the courtyard of historic St. Mary's church in West Harlem, and sales fund the church's many community outreach missions (including food pantry and free health clinic). They also have loads of retro glassware, dishes, and home decor you won't find anywhere else. Only open on weekends so be sure to check the hours.
