The Greater Pittsburgh ReStore in Swissvale Shopping Center is part of the network of Habitat ReStores throughout the United States and Canada. ReStores follow a four-step process to raise funds for its affordable housing programs: 1. Accepts donations of new and gently-used building materials and household goods. 2. Sells those items to the public at 50-70% off the retail price. 3. Uses the proceeds to achieve Habitat's mission to build homes, communities, and hope. 4. Does it all with the help of volunteers.
