Jubilee REACH's Heart and Home Thrift Store is one more way Jubilee is able to engage the community in building interdependent, sustainable and productive life paths. To increase the capacity of Jubilee REACH to serve the needs of the community, we have developed a capacity-building retail enterprise called the Jubilee REACH Heart & Home Thrift Store.
St. Margaret's Thrift Shop has been reusing, reducing and recycling since 1977. We specialize in high-quality name-brand gently used clothing, household goods, textiles, children's clothing and toys, books & media, jewelry and antiques. We draw donations from Bellevue and surrounding areas, and have an exceptionally clean and well organized sales floor. Our volunteers are the best around! You can count on a fun atmosphere with great music while searching for your treasure. Our net profits benefit several family-based charities in our immediate community as well as Mission to Seafarers and Congregations for the Homeless.
TVI is the parent company for Savers. Savers operate 200 Savers, Value Village and Village des Valeurs stores and employ more than 7,000 people in 25 states, 10 Canadian provinces and in Melbourne, Australia. The background and philosophy of Savers lies with the Salvation Army s thrift organization in the 1930s and 1940s. The concept is remaindered or surplus merchandise, and thrift. The first Savers was opened in San Francisco. The one store became a chain, and its headquarters moved north to the Seattle, Wash. area. Savers went international in 1980 when it opened its first Canadian store in Vancouver, B.C., called Value Village.
