Old-fashioned, locally owned stores seem to be the norm here in K.C. and Brookside Toy also aptly fits this description. Guests will find classic games like Life, Monopoly, Yahtzee, etc. in addition to the newest games that are meant to enhance creativity and innovation. Alongside the challenging games, it is the best place to come and explore the scientific world. They sell collecting 'kits' for the mini entomologists in your household, where kids can learn about the natural world through insects. And since the shop is locally owned, the products are all carefully curated, so guests are assured to find something interesting and unique.
