We take great pride in calling ourselves a "Neighborhood Toy Store" because we are just that - a hub of activity, a meeting spot for friends and neighbors, a place where we get to know you and your children by name. On any given day of the week, you'll find us doing what we do best: Just playing around. Stop by and we're sure to be demoing games (have we showed you how to play Spot It yet?), riding around on Plasma Cars, and providing a friendly, hands-on atmosphere for all. If you've visited our store, you know that our toy experts are passionate about play. Providing toy suggestions for children of all ages is a favorite pastime of ours, and we're committed to helping you find the perfect toy for every occasion. When you visit our store, you'll find classic favorites as well as recently discovered treasures. These days, we know that parents are busy and kids' schedules are jam packed. As such, we aim to make your shopping experience at Learning Express as hassle free as possible. Year round we provide free gift wrapping, offer complimentary personalization, and run a Birthday Box gift registry program.
dragonflies opened almost 26 years ago after owner, Tricia Melvin put away her suitcase to put down roots in Wilmington. Her goal was to offer unique gifts for all occasions, in all prices ranges in a warm and fun environment. About 12 years ago, she moved her business into the old Tuesday's/Annabelles building and the space finally matched her vision for her store. If you are looking for gifts, clothing, jewelry, art or accessories, stop in for a visit! We would love to become your favorite gift store!
