Collins, P.E. offers all the mechanical engineering design services for building systems necessary for construction projects, including heating ventilating and air conditioning systems, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing. The office has developed considerable expertise in the area of sustainable design with many high performance projects in design and construction. We are familiar with both the LEED and Passive House Planning standards and have two LEED Platinum new buildings completed, and are completing a 10 story Passive House Certified project. Our work is concentrated on high-end residential that guarantees excellent climate control and all types of projects in NYC from central plant replacements to out-of-the ground new buildings, building expansions and renovations, both partial and full -building. Our geographic range is concentrated in the NYC tri-state area but include the entire East Coast, the Caribbean, Spain and Beijing, China. Professional Qualifications: The staff has three registered Professional Engineers in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts, and three LEED Accredited Professionals. P.
