Shumaker Consulting Engineering & Land Surveying was established in 1964 and reincorporated under the leadership of Linda M. Shumaker, in 1992. It offers engineering, land surveying and construction review services for projects that involve new construction, renovation and remediation of public and private buildings and infrastructure systems, such as roadways and bridges, potable water, storm water, sewage and solid waste. Clients include state agencies, local municipalities, industries and commercial manufacturers, finance institutions, site developers and real estate brokerage firms. The consulting staff is comprised of registered professional engineers, land surveyors, graduate civil engineers, designers, draftsmen and supporting field and office personnel. Corporate headquarters are in Binghamton, N.Y., with additional offices are in Utica and Albany, N.Y.
