O'Side Systems is a software and engineering leadership practice in Oceanside, California, founded by Brett Lee. Brett has built software since 2001, including at Apple, PlayStation and Pearson, and works with founders and engineering teams across North County San Diego and remotely as a fractional CTO. Most of the work is the stretch where ateam needs senior technical judgment but can't yet hire a full-time CTO: architecture and scaling once the proof of concept works, team and ownership design, and deciding where AI coding agents earn their place in how software gets built. O'Side Systems also builds CTOsphere, tooling for teams whose code is increasingly written by agents. Start with a conversation: no deck, no discovery phase.
