Tempest Instruments is a music software company dedicated to creating expressive, realistic virtual instruments. Founded by Alex Davis, former co-founder of Embertone and a composer for film, television, and video games, Tempest brings together musicians, programmers, engineers, and artists to explore new possibilities in sound. From sampling rare and historic instruments to building innovative modern tools, the focus is always on musicality, playability, depth, and inspiration. Tempest exists to give composers and music makers access to extraordinary sounds that feel truly alive and make the act of composing deeply rewarding.
