The coaches truly care about the kids. The club is also very organized and do their best to make sure parents know everything they can.
Valley Runners, established in 2019, is Phoenix's go-to run club open to everyone. We meet every Thursday for a casual 3-4 mile group run, rotating between Fate Brewing Company (Phoenix) and The Joy Lush Club. Our inclusive club welcomes runners of all paces—whether you're super fast, jogging, or walking, you're welcome here. No signup necessary, and it's completely free! After the run, stay to hangout, eat, drink, and make new friends. We also host special events outside of our weekly group runs. Embrace the Valley running community with Valley Runners today!

This volcanic butte at the end of Mill Avenue has many names; the original inhabitant Hohokam Indians regard it as ʼOidbaḍ Doʼag, the city of Tempe as 'Hayden Butte' after the city's founder, and ASU students affectionately know it as 'A Mountain'. Regardless of the nomenclature, everyone can agree that the butte provides a nice hike with some beautiful views of Tempe and its environs once you reach the top. In addition to some great exercise, on the way you will see ancient petroglyphs from the aforementioned Hohokam, native wildlife and the massive letter 'A', which celebrates the nearby university.
