Considered a "Top 10 Playground" by National Geographic magazine, Adventure Playground encourages kids to use their creativity to build real structures using actual tools. Designed for children seven years of age or older, younger children are welcomed to visit as long a they remain within arms length of an adult. Wear clothes you don't mind getting very stained, and bring sturdy, close-toed shoes. Additionally, a popular feature at the playground is a zip line that ends in a pile of sand. Groups of four or less children enter for free. Groups of five or more children must make reservations and pay a fee in two hour increments. Parking in the lot across the street is free.
