Don't just watch football, get out and play ! Here at L.I.S.R we offer weekend recreational leagues from ages 5 - 16. Our league helps introduce the fundamentals of sports through practice and league play games. Our coaches here at Long Island Sports and Recreation work with our players on technique of the sport and skill sets. Coaches practice throwing, running, catching, offensive and defensive awareness, as well as correct route running, play calling, and more. Each Sunday, our teams will get to put their skills to action in structured league play games. This will also teach kids the importance of team work, how to work together to accomplish a goal, sportsmanship, but most important to have fun while learning. Flag football has become a choice of sport for families around the country for their children. The benefit of flag football is that we teach the fundamentals of the game with less risk of injury. this is a "no contact" game. Our goal is to provide your child with a positive, fun and exciting environment where being a young athlete will learn, develop, and use their skills in more competitive events. Games will be played on Saturday or Sunday in our 8 game season. We will then have 2 weeks of playoffs and last week the championship game. Our field is located at 239 East Main St Smithtown, N.Y. We look forward to seeing your children out on the field excelling in a sport they love to play. We also offer different sports as in cheerleading, soccer, Tball & baseball.
North Shore Sports is a premier indoor facility located in Northport New York. We host pickleball ,Basketball ,soccer ,Vollyball as well as birthday parties. We are open daily from 5:30 AM till 12:00AM
