Faction Combat Gym is a martial arts and self-defense gym in East Mesa, near Power Road and US-60. What we do best: - Combatives: practical street self-defense influenced by Krav Maga, Kembativz, MMA and BJJ. Awareness, de-escalation, striking, escapes, ground defense and weapons-defense concepts, trained with live drilling and pads, not choreography. Teens 15+ and adults; no experience needed. - Martial Blade Concepts (MBC): defensive edged-weapon training with Filipino martial arts influence, for adults 18+. Our head instructor is the only instructor in Arizona certified in both Martial Blade Concepts and Kembativz. - MMA for beginners through competitors, blending boxing, Muay Thai and kickboxing, wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Boxing is taught within our MMA and Muay Thai classes. Teens 13+ are welcome in our MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing classes. - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gi and no-gi, with our Sharkside Jiu-Jitsu team, led by black belt Brenden Richardson. - Kickboxing and Muay Thai (sparring optional), plus Women's Kickboxing, a beginner-friendly women-only class. - Kids classes: MMA Minis (ages 3-5), Kids MMA and Kids BJJ build confidence, focus, discipline and respect, including bully-prevention skills that teach kids to control a situation without hurting anyone. - Private training and defensive tactics training. - ESA Approved.
