At Mastery Martial Arts, we believe every child is writing the most important story of their life: the story of who they are becoming. That’s why our program goes far beyond self-defense against a bully or stranger. We teach kids how to defend themselves against the toughest opponent they’ll ever face—the voice of doubt, fear, and insecurity inside. Through powerful “I Am” statements, every class helps students shape their identity: I am confident. I am respectful. I am resilient. This identity training, paired with martial arts discipline, builds character from the inside out. Parents love that their kids not only learn how to stay safe, but also how to stand tall, speak up, and believe in themselves in every area of life. Programs are available for kids, teens, and adults. Students develop self-defense skills for real-life situations while also building character and life skills at every belt level. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to bringing out the best in every student. At Mastery, we don’t just teach martial arts—we prepare kids for life. Because the real fight isn’t only out there in the world…it’s inside. And when your child wins that fight, they can win at anything. Multiple convenient locations across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Michigan. Come see why parents call Mastery their child’s second home.

We offer classes in Kempo Karate for both children and adults, Muay Thai, MMA, American Open Sword, and we are the home of the original KBOX cardio kick boxing classes! We put our instructors through many hours of training to learn the tool necessary to instill the characteristics of self-esteem, respect, and self-discipline in our students. We at the Professional Martial Arts Training Center strive for excellence in all that we do.
We have one clear mission: to help our students develop a stronger sense of self to achieve their full potential in life. We care deeply about our students. That's why we strive to deliver 10 times the value in everything we do. We talk to our students, ask what they need, and learn what they want. Then, we help them reach these goals through group classes that simultaneously promote individual successes.
