The Whitney Ranch Recreation Center is a full-service recreation center maintained by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. The center maintains a 41,000-square-foot facility that features game, conference, meeting, and dance and aerobics rooms, as well as classrooms. The Henderson Multigenerational Center is operated by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department, which provides a variety of life-enriching classes, workshops and events to citizens. The Henderson Multigenerational Center features an aquatic complex and a gross area of more than 84,000 square feet. Its aquatic complex is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The center also has an adult lounge with a reading area and kitchenette. The center additionally features an art gallery, suspended jogging track and basketball court, as well as community services offices and dance, game and fitness rooms. It conducts spinning classes. Z Cages - Batting, Apparel & Training facility is here to serve the Henderson, Las Vegas, and Boulder City baseball and softball communities. We offer a top of the line indoor batting facility with multiple tunnel options. Additional features of our training tunnels include our 4 Iron Mike automated pitching machines (3 for baseball and 1 for slow pitch softball) and Jugs manual pitching machines for both base and softball. New in 2024 is our baseball and fastpitch softball Jugs mini3 machines, which allow change of pitch types. Come do some BP or play a full game in our HitTrax batting simulation tunnel or get in some small whiffle training in the MaxBP tunnel. The facility also has 2 Tee Stations that include use of a ZV-Tee are also available for rent. Pitchers like to come get in a work our pitching tunnel with a mound or our bullpen/arm care center. For baseball pitchers we offer a Rapsodo analytics system with real time data and slow motion replay. Need some pro training and private lessons? We can get you scheduled with a professional trainer for hitting, pitching, fielding... baseball and softball.
