CrossFit Hillcrest is a neighborhood gym that focuses on instructor-led functional fitness. It doesn't matter how old you are or what kind of shape you're in, come as you are! We believe in the potential, capacity, and dignity of every athlete, regardless of race, creed, or gender identity. Every person deserves a place to work out that allows them to feel respected, welcomed, included, and valued, and we are committed to creating that space. Municipal Gymnasium at Balboa Park is an architectural masterpiece. One look at it and you can gage the reflection of ancient Maya and 20th century ornamentation. What was built as the "Palace of Electricity" during 1935 Exposition, is now a venue for basketball championships, sports league, tournaments and summer sports camps. Indeed an exciting place for sports fanatics, this one is an essential stop for locals and visitors alike.
