Ventura County's #1 Sports Team brings healthy, hard-hitting roller derby to local audiences. Roller Derby is a sport like no other, and VCDD is the premier league on the Golden Coast. We hope you'll come be a part of the action! Our players are women from all walks of life, who love to work together as athletes and provide an entertaining show. Off the track, we are always looking for more ways to be involved in local community issues. As derbygirls, we know we're a part of Ventura County's vibrant grassroots culture and we love to support other local groups and businesses. We currently bout at Seaside Park in Ventura and Freedom Park in Camarillo, though we are raising funds for the Darlins Dreamhouse, our very own location. Look for it in 2012.
British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside 24 Hour Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when youre ready and continue until youve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.
