The Austin Rugby Club, located in Austin, Texas, is one of the top rugby clubs in the nation. The club was founded in 1967 and is the oldest rugby club in the Southwestern United States. The teams, affectionately know as the Austin Blacks, compete in the USA Rugby and Texas Rugby Union's Division 1 and Division 3 competitions. The Blacks are consistently ranked in the Top 10 of USA Rugby national rankings.
