Despite its name, Lankford Grocery & Market is actually a restaurant serving gourmet hamburgers. It started as a food stall in 1938 and evolved into a grocery and delicatessen before becoming a burger restaurant. It not only retains its original name but also follows a few original recipes developed in the 1980s. Typical menu items include Fish Sandwich with tartar sauce, and Quesadilla Burger filled with Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeños, red onions and flour tortilla. Diners can also relish Cuban Burger or Greek Burger served with onion rings and curly fries. If you head here for breakfast, delicious Lonestar Tostadas and Huevos Rancheros await you.
